Heart Murmurs Pro
Heart Murmurs Pro

Ver 26.2.0 2026-09-13
Fixes a rare problem where heart sounds would not play until the app was force-quit.
Ver 26.1.0 2026-09-11
Improved practice runs. A run now matches the number of murmurs you picked, instead of repeating them to fill a longer quiz.
Ver 26.0.0 2026-09-09
Heart Murmurs Pro has been rebuilt from the ground up for modern iPhone and iPad. Everything you had is still here — your favorites, your notes, your quiz history and your custom quiz all carry over automatically.
NOW FREE TO DOWNLOAD
Heart Murmurs Pro is now free to try, with a single purchase to unlock the full library. If you bought the app before, nothing changes: everything stays unlocked. If anything ever shows a lock, tap Restore Purchases under Info.
REDRAWN WAVEFORMS
Every one of the 24 sounds now has a properly labelled waveform. Systole and diastole are marked, and S1, S2, A2, P2, ejection clicks, opening snaps and gallops appear where they actually occur in the cycle. Each one was reviewed against the clinical description of the murmur it belongs to.
A BETTER QUIZ
One screen instead of three: pick your murmurs, pick how many questions, start. Question count is no longer tied to how many sounds you chose, so a five-question drill is finally possible — and you can switch on re-asking, which brings a murmur you miss back later in the same run. Six options per question now. Your results list what you missed and offer to practice just those, and every murmur keeps its own record so you can see where you are weak.
NEW THROUGHOUT
• A new sound: hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy, with its murmur drawn as it changes between standing and squatting
• Full split-view layout on iPad
• Dark Mode
• Search across the whole library
• Half-speed playback with a clearer control
• Compare any two sounds side by side, not just against normal, and switch between them with one tap
• A cardiac exam guide covering technique, the five listening areas, and the eight characteristics of a murmur
• Faster launch, and it now works entirely offline
Requires iOS 17 or later.
