Physical Exam Essentialsはどんなアプリ？
Physical Exam Essentialsは、問診から神経学的検査までを順序立てて学べる学習支援ツールです。
視診や触診などの各工程を写真とともに確認できる機能が入っています。練習モードでは試験の進行に合わせて項目を一つずつ確認しながら進められるため、実際の試験に近い流れで知識を定着させられます。タイマー付きの練習機能があるため、制限時間内に各動作をこなす練習にも使えます。さらに、特定のトピックや特定の検査手順だけを抽出して集中して取り組むこともできます。
看護や医学、診療助手を目指す学生が試験に向けた実技の準備をする際に助けになります。実技試験の前に手順を確認したり、ペアを想定した練習で自分の動作を確認したりする場面で重宝します。特定の検査手法について深く掘り下げたいときや、苦手な項目を重点的に復習したい場面でも使い勝手が良いです。

Physical Exam Essentials has been rebuilt from the ground up for today's iPhone and iPad.
- OSCE stations: every exam as an examiner marks it, opening to closing, with a station timer. Recall each step from memory, or tick through a checklist on a partner.
- Continue reading where you left off.
- A cleaner reader: text that grows with your text size setting, in Dark Mode too.
- Photographs at their true shape, and full screen with zoom.
- Search across every section, including inside the text.
- Favorites and Recently Opened.
- Further reading at the end of every section.
- Text brought up to date: corrections to the cranial nerve, Romberg, clubbing, edema, muscle-strength and other passages, and current guidance on screening and testicular torsion.
- Corrections now reach you without waiting for an App Store update.
- Report a problem from the end of any section.
The web lookups for highlighted terms have been removed; definitions written for the app will follow.
