Northern Lights Photo Takerはどんなアプリ？
Northern Lights Photo Takerは、オーロラ撮影に特化したカメラアプリです。
動きの速さに合わせた三種類のプリセットから選べるため、刻々と変化する空の様子に合わせてシャッタースピードや感度を調整できます。構図を整えるための枠線表示や、撮影の瞬間のズレを防ぐ数秒の遅延機能も備わっています。さらに複数の写真を重ねてノイズを抑えるスタック機能を使えば、動きの緩やかな光をより鮮明に写し取れます。
三脚を立ててじっくりと風景を捉えたい場面や、手元の操作を最小限にして撮影に集中したいときに便利です。初心者でもガイドに従いながら、適切な設定を見極めて美しい瞬間を記録できます。

動きに合わせた三種のプリセット
速く動くカーテン状の光や、ゆっくりと流れる淡い光など、その時々の空の状況に合わせて選べる三種類のプリセットが用意されています。カメラの制限範囲内で適切なシャッタースピードや感度を自動で設定し、撮影を支えます。
詳細な操作系による精密な調整
シャッタースピードや感度のほか、ピントや色温度を細かく追い込めます。ラベルが明快に表示される操作系で、自分の意図した通りの色合いや明るさを追い込みたい場面でも迷わず設定を変更できます。
構図の安定を支える枠線と遅延
画面に表示される枠線で構図を整え、数秒の待機時間を設けることで指先の震えや操作のズレを防ぎます。三脚を固定してじっくりと風景を捉えたいときや、手元の動きを抑えて撮影に集中したい時に便利です。
ノイズを抑えるスタック機能
複数の写真を重ね合わせることで、ゆっくり動くオーロラのノイズを低減して鮮明な記録を残せます。静止した状態を保ちながら撮影を重ねれば、単体では捉えきれない繊細な光の表情を写し出します。

Northern Lights is back, rebuilt for your next night under the aurora.
• Cleaner tripod stacks. Combine 4, 8, or 16 photos to reduce grain in slow-moving lights. Rebuilt processing blends the frames evenly while preserving the scene's brightness. A tripod is required.
• Find your settings faster. Choose Dancing, Steady, or Faint, then fine-tune shutter time, ISO, focus, and color.
• A fresh look on iPhone and iPad. Clearer controls, capture progress, and an optional shutter delay make shooting easier in the dark.
• Guidance when you need it. The new aurora guide helps you balance light and movement and troubleshoot dark or blurry photos.
• Easier saving and sharing. Review your photo first, get clearer Camera and Photos permission guidance, and retry a failed save while your photo stays available in the review.
• Reliability fixes. Improved handling of interrupted captures, cancellation, and repeated Save taps.

- Fixed a nasty bug with iOS12 that prevented people from using the app (so SO sorry about that)
- You can now take pictures with the volume up/down button (if you're iOS8 and up)
