YoMoo: Japanese Reading & Newsはどんなアプリ？
YoMoo: Japanese Readingは、ニュースや学習教材を自分のレベルに合わせて読み進められる読解学習アプリです。
漢字すべてにふりがなが付くため、読み方を一目で確認できます。語彙の難易度が色分けされているので、自分の実力に合った文章を選んで取り組めます。ニュース記事には簡単な表現を使ったものと元の文章の二種類があり、段階を追って内容を理解する練習になります。単語をタップすれば意味や品詞がすぐに表示され、覚えたい言葉をリストに保存して復習にも使えます。自分の好きな文章や仕事で使うメールを教材として取り込めるため、日常の場面を学習に結びつけられます。
自分の実力に合った範囲から少しずつ難易度を上げたい学習者にうってつけです。海外のニュースや好きな物語を、辞書を何度も引きながら読み進める時間を減らしたいときにも便利です。自分のペースで読解力を高めたい場面で活用できます。

全漢字へのふりがな表示
すべての漢字に読み仮名が表示されるため、辞書を引く手間が省けます。単語をタップすれば意味や品詞もすぐに確認できるため、スムーズに読解を進められます。
語彙難易度による色分け
語彙がJLPTのレベルごとに色分けされています。文章内のどの単語が自分の実力に合っているかを見分けるため、現在の習熟度に合わせた学習を計画できます。
ニュース記事の切り替え
最新のニュースには元の文章と平易な表現を用いた二種類のバージョンがあります。まずは簡単な内容から読み始め、段階を追って元の文章へ挑戦する練習ができます。
独自の教材取り込み機能
手入力した文章やカメラでスキャンした文字を学習用に取り込めます。仕事のメールや趣味の物語など、身近な内容を自分のペースで学習に役立てられます。

Start at your level
When you first open YoMoo it asks how much Japanese you can read, then opens a first text that fits.
Easier to read
• Darker text colours that are easier on the eyes.
• A word's colour now always matches the JLPT level on its word card.
• Better Japanese line breaks: 。and 、 no longer start a line.
• Scroll down and the controls at the top fold away so the text gets the whole screen. Scroll up to bring them back.
Library

Export your words
Vocab > Manage words > Export words saves every saved word as a CSV file (word and reading first) that Anki and spreadsheets open.
More accurate JLPT levels
The level on each word card now comes from JLPT word lists for the word itself. Before, many words took the level of their first kanji, so 犬 showed as N4 and 企業 as N1.
Better furigana
Hundreds of readings fixed: 間 read as あいだ where it should be, food words such as 牛丼 (ぎゅうどん) and 麻婆豆腐, and well-known people's names such as 大谷翔平. Names the dictionary doesn't list are marked as a best guess.
Fewer empty word cards
Common words such as 人 (ひと), 店 and 私 now open their dictionary entry, and long-vowel spellings find their own word.
Your free articles last longer
Opening your own text, Aozora Bunko books or the sample no longer uses up one of your 5 free articles.
Also: Privacy options in Settings where ad consent applies, and dictionary credits (JMdict and JMnedict).
