Vactrexはどんなアプリ？
Vactrexは、電子ビームで描画されるベクトルグラフィックスの挙動を再現するエミュレータです。
独自のゲームであるStar Stomperが最初から収録されているため、起動した瞬間から遊べます。アナログ機器の動きを正確に模倣しており、ブラウン管特有の残像や光の輝きまで再現されるため、当時の映像に近い質感で描画されます。自分の持っているソフトを読み込むこともでき、ファイル名をそのまま保持した状態でライブラリへ追加できます。画面上の操作ボタンは大きさや透明度を調整できるため、好みの感触で操作を選べます。
Bluetoothで接続したゲームパッドを自動で認識し、アナログスティックの操作も正確に反映されます。レトロなゲーム機を動かす感覚を再現しているため、当時の雰囲気を大切にするファンや、専用のコントローラーを使ってじっくりと遊びたい場面に向いています。

• A third arcade machine: the 1985 sequel to the cockpit game now runs too, with the same yoke, tilt and controller support. Add its romset the same way as the others and it appears in your games list.
• Fixed some audio issues in the cockpit games: the music and speech no longer cut out when a new stage begins, so every warning near the end of a run plays.
• Minor bug fixes.

High scores now stay. The arcade machines remember their tables between sessions, the way the cabinets did.
Game controllers play the arcade games: face buttons fire and thrust, Menu starts a game, Options drops a coin.
TILT now steers on both axes — lean to bank, tip to climb or dive — and works in the rock game too, where leaning turns the ship. CENTER sets a new centre whenever you change how you're holding the device, and the on-screen stick steps aside while you tilt.
The yoke now reads like the cabinet's own: the crosshair starts dead centre and reaches as far left as right, with tilt, stick or controller.
Fixed: a phone call or Siri no longer leaves a game silent. Plus minor bug fixes.
