Ver 1.6 2026-10-31
Every question now has three answer choices, the same as the FAA test, and its explanation was rewritten to match. Eleven questions were reworded after an independent check against the FAA handbooks. A session left open in the last version starts fresh; your readiness, Logbook and Squawk List are kept.
Ver 1.5 2026-10-24
Free to try: 73 of the 350 questions, the first fifth of every ACS area, and a 20-question timed exam. One purchase, Full Exam Prep, unlocks every question and the full 60-question exam. If you already bought the app, everything stays unlocked.
Ver 1.4 2026-10-21
Answer choices were rewritten so the longest option is no longer a hint. The right answer is now the longest about as often as any other choice. Same 350 questions.
Also: screens fit the largest accessibility text sizes, and if your device can't save your progress, the app now says "Not saved" instead of looking saved.

Ver 1.3 2026-10-07
Flag a question and it opens an email to us, already filled in — just tap Send. "I know this" drops a question from practice until you miss it. A test closed mid-exam now asks before a new one replaces it.
Ver 1.2 2026-09-26
Nothing changed in the question bank: still the same 350 FAA-cited questions,
still checked the same way.
This release is the store page catching up with the app. The screenshots were
taken from the shipping build, so the question count and the handbook edition
in them are the ones you actually get, and the page now says plainly what the
app has always done: option order reshuffles every session, so you learn the
answer instead of where it sat; a session you walk away from is waiting where
you left it; and every question you miss stays on the Squawk List until you
answer it right again.
It also says plainly what this app is: the General written knowledge test —
the General section of the A&P — not airframe and not powerplant.
Still no ads, no account, no tracking, no in-app purchases. Still works in
airplane mode.

Ver 1.1 2026-09-22
The question bank grows from 249 to 350.
101 new questions, written from the same public FAA sources the rest of the bank
cites and checked the same way: every one was resolved to a named page, section
or paragraph in FAA-H-8083-30B or 14 CFR before it shipped, then re-verified by
an independent second pass that re-fetched the sources and recomputed every
number. Nothing was added that a primary source does not support at the exact
place the citation points to.
The new questions are spread across all 12 ACS General subject areas by how much
each one asks of you, so every area got deeper — electricity and electronics, ground operations
and servicing, regulations and records, materials and hardware, weight and
balance, physics, corrosion control, mathematics, fluid lines, inspection,
drawings, and human factors.
Still no ads, no account, no tracking, no in-app purchases. Still works in
airplane mode.
Now on iPad: the readiness altitude across the top, all twelve ACS areas on one wall, and the logbook laid open as two pages. Every orientation.
