NEW UNIT: TB-12 TRACTOR BEAM
A fifth display, on Apple Watch and iPhone. A freighter is caught in a station’s tractor beam, with open space just out of reach. The POWER bar drains from the right. While the red is lit, the beam drags the ship back toward the holding bay. Once the red is gone, the engines start winning, and the ship breaks out, leaving its trail behind.
Move drains the beam. Close it and the ship is out.
Exercise powers the engines.
Stand lights the twelve marks on the scale, one an hour.
TIMER mode: the countdown drives the escape, and at zero the beam drops.
New radio calls from the cockpit, from “caught” to “clear”.
The clock reads blue; a countdown reads red.
Find it under SYSTEMS on the watch (long-press), or with ◀ ▶ on the iPhone. KEY explains the readout.

Ver 7.0 2026-10-25
NEW IN 7.0:
DUST RUNNERS
A new game in the iPhone app. Haul relief cargo across Ossan Flats on a hover speeder: keep right, dodge the haulers, hop the rocks and get the crates there on time.
- 20 runs: a day shift, then the night shift, ending at Scrapjaw's yard
- Three speeders: the RUSTBUCKET, the fast SIDEWINDER and the MULE hauler
- Raiders come for your crates. Throw DUST to blind them, BOOST to get clear
- Knocks cost condition, so clean driving pays. Credits buy upgrades in the GARAGE
- Three stars on every run
ONE GAMES KEY
FLY on the iPhone console is now a single GAMES key. Both games live behind it: Dust Runners and the pilot training simulator, which has a new home page with a picture for every mission and your next one up front.
Stars and progress you already have are kept.
NEW IN 6.1:
MISSIONS REMIXED
Missions 4 to 20 of the pilot training simulator now each have their own sky and their own twist. Missions 1 to 3 are unchanged, and any stars you've already earned are kept.
• Asteroid fields to fly through, and to duck behind.
• Defend a relay station, take on a fixed gun platform, and strike a carrier with six gun nodes.
• Raiders that come at you out of the sun's glare.
• An enemy ace who takes ten hits to bring down.
• Channel runs with layouts you can learn, faster doors, the lights out, and flame vents to time.
• New skies: dust, ice, ember, nebulae, a gas giant and a ringed world.
NEW IN 6.0:
PILOT TRAINING SIMULATOR
Tap FLY on the iPhone console and take the controls. Twenty short missions, a few minutes each: dogfights, convoy escorts, carrier strikes and low runs down a narrow service channel.
• Earn up to three stars on every mission: finish it, keep your shields up, and beat the mission's own challenge. Replay any mission for the stars you missed.
• Win a mission to open the next one in its line. The last two levels open with stars.
• The cockpit's targeting computer is the ANq 3.6 from this app, tracking and locking on to your target.
• Lasers, homing torpedoes, and power you shift between lasers, shields and engines.
• Your wingman calls out contacts by clock position on the cockpit's radio screen, and warns you when someone's on your tail.
• Left thumb steers, right thumb fires.
TIMERS ON APPLE WATCH
Long-press the face for SYSTEMS and set MODE to TIMER. Turn the crown to set the time, then tap the clock to start. Each unit keeps its own countdown, with a tap on your wrist at zero.
ALSO
• Timers now step one second at a time under a minute and one minute at a time above, so any number of minutes works.
• ANq 3.6 on Apple Watch now fills in as you close your rings, like it does on iPhone.
• ANq 3.6 has a KEY page on iPhone and Apple Watch showing which band is which ring.

THE TIMER
The iPhone console now counts down. Tap MODE to switch any unit from your activity rings to a countdown, and the display runs from its starting position to target hit as the time runs out.
• Each unit keeps its own timer, so four can run at once. Timers running on other units are listed on screen; tap one to jump to it.
• Quick picks: 30 seconds, 1, 5 or 10 minutes. Plus and minus fine-tune it, one second at a time under a minute. Hold plus to race up to the long ones.
• CALLS: OFF, FEW or ALL. The radio calls the approach as the countdown closes in, and a sound plays at zero.
• Phone locked? You still get the alert, with that unit's sound.
• The screen stays awake while a timer runs.
• Switching back to the rings doesn't stop a countdown.
ALSO
• ANq 3.6 on iPhone: the outer frames fill in as you close your rings, and reaching the target now gets a proper hit.
• Clock digits are no longer cropped at the top and bottom.
• T-s7b: the craft now flies between the two panels.

THE CONSOLE
Stay On Target now has an iPhone app, included with the watch app.
The phone is the console the display is mounted in. Each unit gets its own screen shape: ANq 3.6 on a wide amber panel, T-s7b on a crimson screen framed in gold, DS-1 on the orbital screen with the pointed bottom, YV-4 on the round plotting table. Around it sit the date and clock (always on screen), your ring bars and your next appointment.
- The arrow keys switch units, KEY explains the readouts, RADIO plays the callouts
- Turn it sideways for the full console; press FULL for the display alone
- BRIEF runs your Mission Briefing crawl across the whole screen
- 12 or 24 hour, date order, audio and amber or green, set on each device
The watch app still runs on its own. The phone is optional, the way a good console should be.

A fourth display has come online.
The first three looked out from a cockpit and from something much bigger. This one is the plotting table in the base's war room: a pale dial, a planet dead centre, and a tracker coming round it with a flashing red cone of sight. As your Move ring fills, the red eats into the green until the cone lands on your moon. Stand lights the scale round the rim, block by block. Exercise grows the moon from a dot to the full bullseye.
Also in 4.0:
- SYSTEMS > UNIT now cycles through all four displays
- SYSTEMS > KEY explains the new readout
- Spin the crown on the new unit and the war room reads you the estimated time to firing range, straight off the dial — seventeen new recordings
- The orbital approach has its own radio now too: six callouts that close in as the moon comes out

A third display has come online.
The first two units were a fighter's. This one belonged to something much bigger, and it has one job: watch a moon come out from behind a planet. A red world fills the screen, cloud bands rolling toward its edge. As your Move ring fills, the green moon slides clear of the planet, a trail of rings marking where it has been. Exercise lights the stars one by one. Stand fills the reticle. Close all three and it locks on.
Also in 3.0:
- SYSTEMS > UNIT now cycles through all three displays
- SYSTEMS > KEY explains the new readout, same as the range grid's
- The new unit has its own two radio callouts on the crown — and it stops saying "almost" once you've arrived

We've added a schematic screen to learn how the app displays your fitness rings.

Turns out the name was literal.
The range grid now reads your activity rings. One panel fills as you move,
the other as you exercise, and the ship at the center closes to a solid disc
as you stand. No numbers. No rainbow. Just an instrument that happens to be
reading you. Works in always-on, so a wrist-turn is all it takes.
Also aboard:
- New icon. Same pilots.
