Super 606 Drums - Drum Machineは、アナログ機器のような温かみのある音を再現するドラムマシンです。
ドラムパッドを叩いてアクセントの強弱を使い分けながら、独自のアルゴリズムでまとまりのあるリズムを一瞬で生成できます。各トラックごとにスウィング感や音の強弱を個別に割り当てられるため、生演奏のような人間味を演出する設定も細かく行えます。内蔵されたエフェクターで音に奥行きを加えたり、作成したパターンを別のアプリアプリへ書き出したりすることもスムーズに進みます。
独自のアルゴリズムで複雑なリズムを素早く作りたいクリエイターや、外出先で本格的なドラムの打ち込みを行いたい場面に向いています。高度な設定を一つずつ追いながら、自分だけのグルーヴを作り上げたい音楽制作の現場でも役立ちます。

ドラムパッドでアクセントの強弱を切り替えながらパターンを録音できます。一打ごとに個別のニュアンスを刻み込めるため、手動での打ち込み作業がスムーズに進みます。

アナログ機器特有の音の揺らぎや人間味を再現する設定が組み込まれています。デジタル特有の硬さを抑えた自然な響きを、楽曲制作の現場で取り入れられます。

• LINK YOUR HATS: You can now link the Open and Closed Hi-Hats so Tune, Pan, Volume, and other settings stay matched. Find the new options by tapping the HAT header with the down arrow in the Tuner or Mixer panels.
• NEW T-06 HI-HATS: A new hi-hat model inspired by a vintage 1981 unit. They have their own character, use even less CPU, and the synthesis code is open source too!
• METRONOME?!
Yes! SUPER 606 now includes an optional metronome for Drum Pad recording in standalone mode.
Turn it on in Standalone Options and choose from three different metronome sounds.
The original hardware didn't have a metronome, but some of you really love metronomes, so here it is! When using SUPER 606 as an AUv3, simply use your host's metronome.
• MIDI TRANSPORT RECEIVE: Standalone can now receive MIDI Start/Stop. Turn it on to start, stop, and sync SUPER 606 with your other MIDI gear. MIDI Note transport start/stop still works as well in AUv3 and standalone. This is to receive a pure MIDI transport signal that some gear sends.
• MIDI OUT LOCK: MIDI Out settings are saved with each preset. Want to keep the same MIDI Out setup while browsing sounds? Tap the new Lock toggle and your MIDI Out choices will stay put.
• AUv3 IMPROVEMENTS: The bottom Sequence Picker is now visible on iPad even when you're not using the two-panel layout, and more.
• MAJOR DSP OPTIMIZATIONS:
We've been digging deep into the drum synthesis code.
• Up to 3x CPU performance improvement on some presets
• T-06 Hi-Hats can save even more CPU compared with the original hat model
• More DSP optimizations are already in progress, stay tuned!

The optimized Clap and Hi-Hat synthesis code, with roughly 2.5x to 3x performance improvements, has been added to the SUPER 606 open-source library.

• NEW: MIDI Out. SUPER 606 can now send its patterns, drum pads, or its individual drum hits to your DAW or anything that can receive MIDI!
• FIXED: AUv3 state now saves and restores correctly in GarageBand and Logic Pro
• FIXED: The first beat no longer drops in GarageBand when Count-In is on.
• MIDI Out has three modes. Set it on the About page.
The MIDI Out setting is saved with each preset and with the AUv3 state.
1. "Drum Notes" MIDI Out
Sends every drum hit as a MIDI note.
Note: if your DAW plays those notes back into SUPER 606 while its internal pattern is also running, you will hear doubled hits.
To avoid that, do one of the following:
• Loop SUPER 606 on an empty pattern
• Send note #33 (A0), Transport Stop, before the DAW plays its notes, so the internal pattern stays stopped
• Use Pattern MIDI Out instead
2. "Pattern Changes" MIDI Out
The most authentic groove: SUPER 606 plays its own patterns and your DAW triggers the pattern changes. That way, the internal groove engine can do its thing and you keep more of that little timing magic and mojo.
Pattern changes: notes 24–31 (C0–G0)
Modes 1 & 2 both send Drum Pad MIDI as well.
3. MIDI Out Off: both buttons toggled off.

GARAGEBAND for iOS
GarageBand records MIDI Out with no extra setup.
Plus you can easily turn that MIDI into audio inside GarageBand, choose "Merge" on the 606 track.
LOGIC PRO for iPad
Logic records a plug-in's MIDI onto a second track, not the 606 track. Add a second software instrument track and select it. Open the Inspector (second icon at the bottom left, two stacked horizontal faders). Set "Internal MIDI In" to "Instrument Output" and choose 606 Drums. Set Record to Internal MIDI In. Record-enable the second track and press Record.
Not a Logic power user? It is often easier to export MIDI or Audio with one tap in the app: use the Share icon at the top, second from the right.
And remember to avoid double hits.
