PATCH NAMES
The inspector now lists the patch names inside recognized dumps: Yamaha DX7 single voices and 32-voice banks, Korg minilogue, monologue, prologue and minilogue xd programs, Sequential programs (Prophet '08, Prophet-6, OB-6, Rev2, Prophet-5 and Take 5), Novation Circuit synth patches and Behringer DeepMind 12 programs. Imported files are named after the patch they contain, and search matches patch names. Syxloom never guesses: a name is shown only when the published layout matches exactly and the bytes are plain text. Layouts documented by the user community rather than the manufacturer are labelled.

DX7 BANK BUILDER
Pick voices from any DX7 bank or single voice in your library, order them, and save a new 32-voice bank with a correct checksum. Save any voice from a bank as a single voice, or rename it into a new copy.

EDIT AND REPAIR BYTES
Edit a message as hex with live validation. Roland, Yamaha and XG checksums can update automatically. Repair a mismatched checksum into a new copy. Originals are never changed.

MIDI FILE IMPORT
Import Standard MIDI Files (.mid) and Syxloom extracts every complete SysEx message.

DUPLICATE FINDER
Find identical files, the same sound saved under another name, and DX7 voices repeated across banks.

AUDITION AND RECALL
Play a test note or chord, send bank select and program change, and send All Notes Off to every channel.

REQUEST PRESETS AND PACING
Documented patch-request presets for DX7, Korg logue, Sequential and Circuit. Pacing profiles can use published gaps: Roland 40 ms, Circuit 20 ms, or 150 ms for older gear.

NEW IN 4.0 — SNAPSHOT COMPARE
Save independent copies of selected messages before a session or repair. Compare snapshots by library identity or explicitly corresponding message order. Inspect added, removed, changed and unchanged records, complete byte counts and SHA-256 hashes; share a JSON report. Detail is bounded to 128 changed ranges per message. Keep up to 20 snapshots and 16 MiB of copied data in checked workspace backups. Snapshot workspaces require this release or later. Comparison never sends MIDI and does not decode patch addresses or prove hardware storage.

Syxloom 3.0 adds a reviewed transfer workbench: frozen message order, destination identity, checksums and effective pacing before every send. Keep distinct completion, cancellation, failure and interruption receipts. Back up the complete local workspace with an integrity check and restore preview, recover unreadable files without silent overwrites, and retain source and termination details for captured dumps. Updated iPhone and iPad navigation includes searchable history, paged inspection and comparison, and an explicitly offline pipeline check.

BENCH — a captured bank is no longer all-or-nothing. Build send sets: ordered selections from your library, delivered as one paced transfer with a per-set gap between messages. Reorder by drag, and the wire-time estimate updates as you build.

DIFF — compare any two messages or captures byte by byte: changed regions named by offset, an aligned hex view, and a one-line verdict.

DEVICES — run a census: Syxloom broadcasts the Universal Identity Request and turns every reply into a card naming the manufacturer, family, member, and firmware. A request builder composes Roland RQ1 messages with the checksum computed for you, plus a raw hex composer that validates before it sends. Per-device pacing profiles remember how slowly old hardware needs to be fed.

Also: a live receive meter on the Monitor, a new icon, and a new instrument-panel look across the app. Everything stays on this device — no account, no tracking.

Syxloom now does the job end to end, with real CoreMIDI underneath.

- Live capture from any CoreMIDI source, with true multi-packet reassembly so a full bank dump arrives byte for byte
- A virtual "Syxloom" port other apps can send into, plus Bluetooth MIDI pairing
- A real .syx importer that reads binary dumps and splits a bank into one entry per patch
- Field-by-field decoding with hex highlighting: manufacturer, device, model, command, address, data, and checksum
- Per-vendor checksum verification, with an honest "not applicable" for the many manufacturers that use none
