Fishtailはどんなアプリ？
Fishtailは、音楽理論に基づくアルゴリズムを用いて楽曲を生成するMIDI楽器です。
AIによる生成ではなく、音楽の基礎に基づいた計算によって曲を作り上げます。複数のセクションごとに異なるキーや拍子、旋律の処理を設定できるため、複雑な構成の楽曲も作り込めます。生成された複数の演奏案を比較しながら、好みのパターンを選んで並べ替えることもできます。出力は音そのものではなくMIDIデータとなるため、外部の楽器音源と組み合わせて独自の響きを作り出せます。
独自の音色を持たないため、DTM制作の過程で次の一歩を模索する際に重宝します。特定のフレーズや展開に行き詰まったとき、アルゴリズムの提案を受けながら曲の構成を練り上げられます。クリエイティブな制作現場で、新しいアイデアを得るための道具として便利です。

Fishtailの注目ポイント
理論に基づく自動生成
AIによる推測ではなく音楽の基礎理論を計算に用いて楽曲を生成します。独自のアルゴリズムが導き出す旋律や和声は、理論に基づいた整合性の取れた構成へとつながります。
詳細なセクション編集
楽曲を複数のパートに分割して管理する仕組みです。各セクションごとにキーや拍子を個別に設定できるため、複雑な展開を持つ曲も細部まで作り込めます。
演奏案の比較と並べ替え
生成された複数の演奏案を一覧で比較し、好みのパターンを選んで並べ替えることができます。特定の箇所で止まることなく、自然な区切りを保ったまま構成を組み替えます。
MIDIデータの出力
音色を持たないMIDIデータとして書き出せます。外部の楽器音源と組み合わせることで、制作過程で行き詰まった際に新しいアイデアを取り入れながら独自の響きを作り上げられます。

Ver 1.0.2 2026-08-10
Fishtail now includes time signatures in exported MIDI files, so changing meters appear correctly in DAWs such as Logic Pro. It also restores validated legacy Takes that were previously playable but hidden from the Take Shelf, allowing them to be selected and exported.

Fishtail 1.0.1 includes the complete current User Guide inside the app for offline use, plus access to the latest guide when online. It also improves restoration of saved Fishtail projects and AUv3 host sessions.
