SetClassはどんなアプリ？
SetClassは、現代音楽の和声理論を深く学ぶためのツールです。
ピッチホイール上の音を選択して和音や音階を組み立てるほか、フォルテ番号や間隔ベクトルといった理論的な数値を画面上で確認できます。特定のセットから別の形へ滑らかに変化させたり、転回や反転による対称性を確かめたりする操作も行えます。さらに、特定のセットに含まれる構造を分析するためのデータや、歴史的な名曲の解析例をあわせて確認できるため、理論の学習を深められます。
独自の和声理論を研究する作曲家や、高度な楽曲分析に取り組む学生にとって、複雑な数値を整理しながら思考を深める場面で役立ちます。理論書をめくりながら手元で音の構造を視覚的に捉えたいときにも重宝します。

ピッチホイールによる構成
円形の画面にある音を直接選んで和音やスケールを組み立てられます。視覚的に音の並びを確認しながら、独自の響きを作り上げる過程をスムーズに進められます。
理論的な数値の可視化
フォルテ番号や間隔ベクトルといった分析に必要な数値を画面上で確認できます。複雑な計算を省いて、構造の性質を正確に把握しながら思考を深められるため、高度な分析にも助けになります。
対称性の確認機能

• Set Finder: new note picker. Tap notes to search instantly, or type a Forte number (3-11) or pitch-class numbers (0 4 7).
• Set Finder: with no notes selected, it now lists all 224 set classes (filter by size with the note-count chips).
• New: K/Kh complexes. Open any set in Explorer to see the set classes that include it or its complement.
• New: Serial Matrix in the Sequencer, for rows of 2 to 12 notes. Read P, I, R and RI forms straight from the grid.
• Sequencer: every step can now use any inversion (I0–I11) and retrograde inversion (RI0–RI11).
• Geometry: inversional symmetry axes are now drawn on the shape.

• Fixed: Forte numbers are now correct across the whole app. The set class table was rebuilt from a verified reference and covers all 224 set classes, including Z-relations.
• Improved Finder: search by Forte number (e.g. 3-11, 6-Z44), by pitch-class numbers (0 4 7, 047, T and E for 10 and 11), or by note names (C E G).
• Finder results now list the exact set class first, then the closest matches.
• Fixed the Berg Violin Concerto example so its pitch classes match set class 4-27.
• Prime form now follows Rahn's algorithm.
