Morse code (CW) that actually works:

• CW tuning fixed on KiwiSDR and OpenWebRX — tap a CW signal and you now hear it as a clean tone. Before, these receivers were listening slightly beside the signal, so you mostly
heard noise.
• A much better CW decoder — it finds the signal's exact pitch on its own, so a station you tapped a little off (or one that drifts) still decodes, and it copies weak signals far
more reliably.
• No more strings of random E's and I's on an empty frequency: the decoder only prints when a signal is there.
• The CW filter now follows the bandwidth setting.

Demod in the car, a smarter Seek, and a squelch that works everywhere:

- CarPlay — listen to Demod on your car's screen. Pick a recent server or a saved station, see the band, station and country on the Now Playing screen, and use the steering-wheel buttons. Radio now plays across the car's music speakers instead of the voice speaker.
- Seek — next/previous (in the app, in the car and on your headphones) now jumps to the next real signal for the mode you're in and stops there: the next AM station, the next SSB voice, the next CW signal. It stays inside the band you're tuned to and searches the whole receiver when you're between bands.
- Siri and Shortcuts — "Tune Demod", "Play WWV in Demod" (any saved station), "Listen to (a favorite receiver) in Demod", or "Ask Demod what this signal is".
- Identify, upgraded on iOS 27 — Demod reads the waterfall itself to help work out what an unknown signal is.
- Squelch now works on KiwiSDR and OpenWebRX, and uses the same dB reading as the signal meter, so it's easy to set: put it just above the noise (thank you to our reviewer for the feedback!)
- Band plans for your country, chosen automatically from the receiver's location and editable in the app (another great feedback item!)
- More reliable listening on the move — Demod reconnects on its own after a dead zone and brings the audio back with it, and pauses for phone calls and Siri then picks up again.
- FT8 no longer misses the start of transmissions on some receivers.
- "Keep screen on while listening" option, and Recent Servers now list newest first.

New receivers, cleaner audio, and a better iPad:

• OpenWebRX support — connect to OpenWebRX web SDRs, a whole new network of receivers (HF and VHF/UHF) on top of KiwiSDR and SpyServer. Browse them right in the app, and on multi-band receivers just pick the band you want.
• Cleaner audio on KiwiSDR — the mains-hum filter now works on KiwiSDR and OpenWebRX and turns on automatically at the right 50 or 60 Hz for your region, so that power-line buzz is gone without any fiddling.
• Auto-contrast waterfall — the waterfall tracks the noise floor on its own as conditions change, so signals stay visible without touching the sliders.
• A more reliable server browser — Demod now checks which public receivers are actually reachable from your device and shows why one won't connect (full, offline, app access limited). Dead receivers drop to the bottom, and connections fail fast instead of hanging.
• Filter public servers by frequency coverage — quickly find a receiver that tunes the band you want (HF, VHF, UHF, or wherever you're tuned right now).
• New iPad interface — a three-pane "desktop radio": Favorites and Memories in a tap-to-tune sidebar, spectrum and waterfall in the center, every control visible at once.
• Better landscape on iPhone — a side-by-side layout that keeps the frequency and controls in reach when you rotate.
• Connect to KiwiSDRs behind HTTPS — receivers on a secure (TLS) proxy now connect. Paste the full https:// address or flip the new Secure switch.
• Cleaner live transcription — less phantom text invented from static.
• Frequency correction (PPM) for RTL-SDR dongles that run slightly off.
• Fixed the frequency display pushing controls off the edge at 100 MHz and up.
