• Safer library: fixes for importing, deleting and merging albums that could lose or skip songs.
• Files that aren't playable audio are now reported instead of being added as empty songs.

• Shelf redesign: album details sit under the cover, Play and Shuffle are on the track list, and a chip shows what's playing.
• Artist pages open with a header showing the artist's photo and album and song counts.

• New Storage page in Settings › Library shows how much space your music, artwork and caches take.
• Share a diagnostic report from Settings to help track down problems. Reports stay on your device until you send them.
• Log files are now capped in size and pruned automatically.

Device Sync: keep your iPhone or iPad in step with your Mac

• Pair with your Mac over your local network, confirming the pairing on both screens. Everything stays between your own devices. Set it up in Settings > Device Sync.
• Songs, albums and artists you choose with Include in Sync on the Mac arrive on your device, with their tags and artwork. The Mac shows you a plan before anything is sent or removed.
• A banner shows while a sync is running, and a "Synced From" row shows which Mac a song came from.
• Sync keeps going briefly if you leave the app.
• Tag edits and songs added on your device can flow back to the Mac.
• Switching to a different Mac asks you first.
• Name your device so it's easy to recognise.

• Shuffle, rebuilt: every song plays once before anything repeats, Up Next shows the real order, and Previous takes you back to what you just heard. Turning shuffle on with Siri now really shuffles.
• AI DJ is faster with large and network-drive libraries, and only picks songs that are actually available.
• CarPlay & Siri: songs played without opening the app now count in your listening stats, and CarPlay connects faster when "Remember Last Song" is on.
• Moved or renamed a music folder or external drive? Plinth now reconnects to your linked files instead of losing access.
• Missing Metadata loads faster and updates instantly as you fix albums.
• On iPad in Split View and other narrow windows, the mini player now fits on screen.
