3.0: Time Cuts

Time Cuts helps you choose optional cues, check a time budget and save a separate shorter deck. Rehearse, present or export the new deck while preserving the original.

• Open any deck → Time Cuts.
• Set the target, speaking pace and pause per cue, then switch off optional speaking cues.
• Review the estimate and save a shorter deck. Open the copy from the library to rehearse, present or export.

Time is estimated from cue words plus pauses, not measured speech. It excludes improvisation, questions and applause. Empty section headings are removed. Notes, order and deck settings carry into the independent copy; check transitions before presenting.

Beat Split turns a dense cue card into glanceable beats at sentence and clause marks. It does not score the deck.

Prep Desk still estimates readiness. Everything stays on this device.

Version 2.1 adds Prep Desk, a speaker preparation system that scores deck readiness, estimates read time, checks target pace, flags long cards, tracks private-note coverage, builds a section-by-section run-of-show, and gives a practical rehearsal ladder.

This release also adds an offline Speaker Field Guide with high-resolution bundled sheets for pace, one-idea cards, eye contact, pauses, room checks, template arcs, rehearsal, and recovery.
