PRACTICE EXAMINATIONS ARE HERE
First, a thank-you. A student reviewer told me the app was short on practice exams and not worth the money. They were right, and this update is my answer.
WHAT'S NEW
• Six complete practice examinations in the real VCAA shape: for every revolution, a 25-mark Section A question with four sources (a primary document, two historical interpretations and a visual source) and a 20-mark Section B essay. That is 24 source questions, 96 sources and 24 essays, each with full model responses and assessor notes — about 67k words of worked answers.
• Every paper copies the exact part pattern and mark allocation of a recent VCAA paper (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022 and the VCAA sample), so you meet every configuration the examiners have used.
• Timed full examinations for every pairing of revolutions: two Section A questions plus one essay, 70 marks, 120 minutes — the way the real paper runs. Plus per-revolution Section A and Section B drills, a source-skills drill, an essay drill and rapid recall.
• Examiner tips from the 2023, 2024 and 2025 assessment reports, paraphrased into what to do and what to avoid, part by part.
• Eight exam-technique guides: how the paper works, identify/outline parts, explain and analyse, the 8–10 mark evaluate, the essay's four criteria, using historians properly, the date-range trap and a two-hour time plan.
• 70 new study notes (114k words in total now), 504 glossary terms with plain-English explainers, and 401 authored flashcards plus a glossary deck — chronology, individuals, popular movements, statistics and interpretations for all four revolutions.
• Date ranges corrected to the current study design (American 1754–1789, French 1774–1795, Russian 1896–1927, Chinese 1912–1976) and the Chinese module re-anchored to 1912, which the examiners require.
• A daily quiz that actually changes every day, a fixed examination timer, honest labelling of practice papers, and a one-tap link to the free official VCAA papers and reports.
Altogether the app now holds 320 practice questions and roughly 253k words of original study content.
To the reviewer: thank you for saying it plainly — it made the app better for everyone. To every Revolutions student heading into the end-of-year examination: judgement in the first sentence, evidence under every point, and good luck. You have got this.
