Milky Way Tonightはどんなアプリ？
Milky Way Tonightは、天の川の撮影に向けた計画や準備を円滑に進めるための支援ツールです。
今夜の雲の状態や光害の状況を分かりやすく確認できるほか、一週間先までの予測を色分けした帯で視覚的に把握できます。周辺にある暗い空の場所を距離や条件から順に探し出せるため、撮影場所の選定もスムーズです。構図を決める前に天の川の弧がどこに位置するかをシミュレーションしたり、カメラとレンズの組み合わせから適切な露出時間を算出したりする機能も備わっています。夜間の視認性を守るために画面を赤く染める機能や、初心者向けの解説ガイドも用意されています。

一週間先の空の予測
一週間先までの空の状態を色分けされた帯で視覚的に確認できます。数日後の天候を見通しながら計画を立てられるため、より余裕を持って撮影のスケジュールを組めます。
近隣の暗い空の探索
光害や雲の量を考慮して周辺の暗い空を探し出します。移動距離や条件をあわせて比較できるため、より良い撮影場所を地図上で絞り込む際に便利です。
天の川の弧のシミュレーション
構図を決める前に天の川がどこに位置するかを画面上で確認できます。現場へ向かう前から前景とのバランスを計算し、意図した通りの構図を狙って撮影に臨めます。
