Metastrip - EXIF Removerはどんなアプリ？
Metastrip - EXIF Removerは、写真や動画、PDFから不要なメタデータを削除するツールです。
ファイルに含まれる位置情報や撮影日時だけでなく、カメラの機種やレンズの型番といった機材情報も一括で消去できます。PDFに書き込まれた作成者名やタイトル、著作権情報といった目に見えない情報を整理して取り除くため、情報の流出を防げます。削除前にどのようなデータが存在するかを項目ごとに確認できるので、必要な情報を残しながら安全に加工ができます。すべての処理は端末内で行われるため、外部のサーバーへデータを送信することなくプライバシーを守りながら作業が進められます。
取材先を守る必要がある記者や機密書類を扱う弁護士など、情報の公開範囲を厳格に管理する場面で役立ちます。応募書類から不要なソフトの履歴を消したい就職活動中の方も、安心してファイルを受け渡しできます。

位置情報や撮影日時の削除
写真や動画からGPSの座標や記録された日時を取り除けます。SNSへの投稿時にどこでいつ撮影したかを特定される心配を減らせるため、プライバシーを守りながら素材を共有できます。
機材情報の消去
使用したカメラの機種やレンズの型番といった詳細な情報を消し去ります。撮影機材の特定を避けたい場面でも、元の画質を保ったままデータだけをきれいに整えて配布できます。
PDF内のメタデータ削除
PDFファイルに書き込まれた作成者名やタイトルを消去できます。書類のタイトルや作成者の名前を伏せて送る必要がある事務作業において、情報の流出を防ぎながら書類をやり取りできます。
著作権情報やソフト履歴の削除
使用したソフトウェアの履歴や著作権情報を消去する機能が入っています。制作過程で使ったツールの形跡を消したいとき、意図しない情報まで相手に伝わるのを防げます。
