Ver 2.1.2 2026-09-12
This update is for everyone who bought Calometric before it moved to Calometric Pro.
FIXED
• If you bought the app before Calometric Pro, the scans that came with your purchase now keep the whole app unlocked until you use them up. Only photo scans count against them.
• Restore Purchases now tells you what it found instead of finishing without a word.
• If Calometric briefly can't reach our servers, it no longer asks you to subscribe while it checks the scans you already have.
If the last update asked you to subscribe even though you had bought the app, we're sorry. Open Calometric again or tap Restore Purchases, and you're back in.

Ver 2.1.1 2026-09-10
Calometric has been completely rebuilt: a calmer dashboard, smarter ways to log, and more of your nutrition story on your Apple Watch.
NEW
• The food database is now 10× bigger—and it will keep growing, so more foods are ready when you search.
• Nutrition reports turn any date range into a printable, shareable PDF, ready to review before you send it.
• Calometric Pro brings every way to log, your full history, goals, photo scanning, and the Nutrition Coach into one plan, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
• Type a whole meal into search and Calometric turns it into editable foods before you log.
• On Apple Watch, add recent favorites and custom foods from Quick Add, and put calories or any macro on your watch face.
IMPROVED
• A refreshed Dashboard brings photo, barcode, search, voice, and nutrition-label logging together. Buttons are larger, and text follows your Dynamic Type size.
• Recent Foods elevates the custom foods you logged, while saturated fat now appears alongside your macros in Weekly Trends and on Apple Watch.
FIXED
• Fractional amounts now handle comma decimal separators correctly. If you logged fractions before this update, please check those earlier entries.
Previously purchased scan packs keep working until spent, and existing Nutrition Coach subscribers retain full access while their subscription renews.

Ver 1.7.0 2026-09-04
Track saturated fat everywhere you log a meal, with clear totals and goals that make daily nutrition easier to understand.
NEW
• Saturated fat is now preserved when available from photos, barcodes, voice, food search, nutrition labels, manual entries, and Apple Watch logging.
• Set an independent daily saturated-fat goal and follow progress alongside calories, carbohydrates, protein, and total fat.
IMPROVED
• Meal Review and Meal Detail now use balanced, accessible five-stat summaries with matching icons.
• Edit saturated fat before saving, keep it when copying meals or saving favorites, and include it in CSV exports.
• Apple Health can sync saturated fat when the value is known and you grant permission. Declining this optional permission does not interrupt the rest of your nutrition sync.
• Unknown values stay unavailable instead of being reported as zero, and serving or per-100 g/ml values are labeled more clearly.

Ver 1.6.0 2026-08-29
Photo scanning is rebuilt.
Version 1.6 replaces the on-device photo model with a much larger cloud model. Snap a meal and you get an editable estimate of the foods, portions, calories, carbohydrates, protein and fat — then correct anything before you save. Photos are only sent for analysis after you agree, and every purchase includes 100 scans that do not expire.
ALSO NEW
• Nutrition Coach (optional) — ask about meal choices, macros, hydration, grocery choices or fuelling a workout. It is a separate monthly subscription, it is not medical advice, and it is never required to log food.
• Improved barcode scanning for packaged foods, using the community-maintained Open Food Facts catalogue.
• Refinements across the Apple Watch app, widgets, complications and Siri shortcuts.
Logging food remains a one-time purchase with no subscription required. Voice logging, food search and nutrition-label reading still run on your device.
