This version includes additional functional updates to the grocery and item-management experience:
1. Persistent checked grocery items
• Checked grocery items now persist correctly after app termination and relaunch.
• Grocery item state is saved immediately and restored reliably.
2. Manual item creation in category picker
• In the Choose Items screen, users can now tap Add Item(s).
• This opens a multiline input sheet where users can enter one or multiple items separated by commas or line breaks.
• The flow includes localized Cancel and OK actions.
3. Persistent custom category items
• Items added through Add Item(s) are saved permanently for future use.
• These user-added items are reloaded in the same category on future launches.
4. Category item deletion with confirmation
• Users can delete category items from the picker list.
• Deletion now requires a confirmation alert with Cancel and OK before the item is removed.
• Deleted items remain removed in future sessions.
5. Real-time grocery text synchronization
• When users remove an item from the grocery text box, the matching generated grocery item is removed in real time.
• This behavior now only affects items created from the text box.
• Items added from category selection or other non-text flows are preserved and are no longer incorrectly deleted.
These updates expand the app beyond a basic notes/list template by adding persistent user-customizable category management and more robust grocery workflow behavior.

2. Go to Choose Items
3. Select a category
4. Tap Add Item(s) and add one or more custom items
5. Reopen the picker and confirm the custom items are still present
6. Delete a category item and confirm the confirmation alert appears
7. In the grocery text box, remove a typed item and confirm only the matching text-derived item is removed
