Ball of Agesは、時代を超えて進化するボールを操作して戦いを進めるアクションゲームです。
宝箱から武器や装備品を見つけ出し、それらを合成してより強力なアイテムへと成長させられます。一つひとつの装備を強化することで、強大な敵や困難なダンジョンを攻略する力が蓄積されます。永続的な強化要素があるため、時間の経過とともに自身の力を高めながら次の時代へと突き進めます。

宝箱を開けるたびに、新たな武器や装備品を手に取れます。手に入れたアイテムは自分の持ち物として管理し、次の冒険に備えることができます。
