WindRouter: Sailing Weatherはどんなアプリ？
WindRouter: Sailing Weatherは、航海に向けた気象ルートの算出を支援するナビゲーションアプリです。
一度の購入で全機能を利用できるため、継続的な費用を気にせず使い続けられます。数日先の予報に基づいたルート計算ができるほか、複数の船体特性を登録して比較することもできます。出航時間の比較機能によって、より良い出発時期を特定したり、あらかじめ用意された多くの航路データから特定の地点までの距離や方位を確認したりできます。あらかじめ用意された港のガイドや、自身のルートを記録するデジタルログブックも備わっています。
長距離の航海を計画している人や、次なる目的地への航路を具体的に練りたい場面に向いています。複雑な計算を簡略化しながら、最新の気象情報を反映した計画を立てられます。

一度の購入で全ての機能が使えるため、追加費用を気にせず使い続けられます。サブスクリプションの契約に縛られることなく、自分のペースで航海計画を進められます。
数日先の予報に基づくルート算出
数日先の気象予測を取り込んでルートを計算します。変化する天候を予測しながら、安全な航路を導き出せるため、長期的な計画を立てる際に便利です。
複数の船体特性による比較
複数の船体特性を登録して比較する機能が入っています。自分の船の特性を反映させた計算を行うことで、より実情に近い航海計画を立てられます。
出航時間の比較による出発時期の特定
出航時間を変えた場合の予測を比較し、有利な出発のタイミングを見極められます。天候の変化を予測しながら、最も良い時間帯を選んで航海へ出発できます。

The Weather tab is now a watch-by-watch passage brief:
- Next 24 hours at your position: wind range, peak gusts, squall risk, sea state and comfort, pressure trend, sunset, sunrise and moon - plus a "reef before dark" call.
- 7-day meteogram with wind & gusts, waves & swell, rain and pressure, with night shading.
- Model agreement: ECMWF, GFS and ICON side by side, with a per-day agree/differ badge.
- Passage stats: distance to go, next waypoint, 24-hour run, ETA and whether you arrive in daylight.
- Tropical systems: NHC active storms, forecast cones and 7-day outlook areas on the chart, with distance and threat level relative to your route.
- Works offline: the last brief and tropical data are cached, with their age shown.
Routing:
- Choose the weather model - ECMWF IFS, NOAA GFS or DWD ICON - and compare routes across them.
- Surface currents (set and drift) are now applied in the routing algorithm.
- Wind overlay gusts come straight from the model.
Also: tide stations show live predictions only, and the privacy policy, disclaimer and licences are in About.
