CoMapsはどんなアプリ？
CoMapsは、オープンな地図データを用いたナビゲーションアプリです。
通信環境がない場所でも詳細な地図を閲覧できるため、山歩きやキャンプなどのアウトドアシーンで頼りになります。徒歩や自転車、車など移動手段に合わせた音声案内が聞き取れるほか、お気に入りの場所を指先一つで保存できます。夜間でも見やすいダークモードや、ハイキングコースと水場を強調する屋外モードが使い分けられるため、状況に合わせて地図を切り替えられます。
電波の届かない山奥でルートを確認する際や、海外旅行で現地の地図を頼りに歩くときに重宝します。広告がなくプライバシーにも配慮された作りなので、自分のペースで安心して旅の計画を立てたい人にうってつけです。

CoMapsの注目ポイント
電波のない場所での地図閲覧
通信環境に左右されず詳細な地図を確認できるため、山奥や人里離れた場所へ行く際も安心です。事前にデータを取得すれば、圏外でもルートを正確に把握しながら歩を進められます。
アウトドア向けの地図表示
ハイキングコースやキャンプ場、水場などの地点を強調する専用のモードが備わっています。地形を把握しづらい野外でも、目的の場所や周囲の環境を直感的に判別できるためスムーズに移動できます。
移動手段に合わせた音声案内
徒歩での散策や自転車での移動、車での運転など、それぞれの状況に合わせた音声ナビゲーションが選べます。画面を注視する時間を減らしながら、目的地へ向かうための情報を耳で受け取れます。
お気に入り場所の保存機能
気になった地点や訪れたい場所を指先ひとつで登録し、すぐに振り返ることができます。iCloudとの同期も行えるため、複数の端末で同じ場所を管理しながら旅の計画を立てられます。
レビューの分析
他の地図アプリと見分けがつかないほど外観やメニューが整っており、等高線の表示が正確に機能する点が評価されています。公開されている範囲では、直感的に操作できるため迷わずに使いこなせるという声があります。特定の地図アプリに近い操作感を求める人には好まれる内容です。
一方で、住所による検索ができず不便を感じる場面があるとの指摘があります。ルートの候補が一つしか表示されないため使いにくいという意見も挙がっています。エリアを事前にダウンロードしていないと周辺しか表示されないため、事前の準備が必要な点に不満の声があります。
