Pipe Calc Eliteはどんなアプリ？
Pipe Calc Eliteは、配管工事や配管工の現場で必要な計算を行うためのユーティリティです。
鋼材や銅管といった複数の素材に関する詳細なデータを確認しながら、配管のオフセットや切り出し長さを算出できます。流体速度から圧力損失を導き出す計算も行えるため、バルブや継手を含めた複雑な現場の状況にも対応します。単位の変換や面積と体積の計算がひとつの画面でこなせるため、工事の現場で正確な数値を導き出したい場面で役立ちます。

鋼材や銅管など複数の素材データ
鋼材や銅管、ステンレス鋼など七種類の素材データが参照できます。厚みや重量などの詳細な数値を照らし合わせながら作業を進められます。
流体速度や圧力損失の算出
流速から圧力損失を導き出す計算が行えます。バルブや継手を含む複雑な配管構成の状況に合わせて数値を算出する際に便利です。
単位換算や面積と体積の計算
メートルとミリメートルを混ぜた状態で計算や単位換算ができます。面積や体積の計算もひとつの画面でこなせるため手間が省けます。

• Threaded elbow take-outs: Class 150 and 300 malleable iron (ASME B16.3) with the matching Class 125 and 250 cast iron (ASME B16.4), and Class 3000 and 6000 forged steel (ASME B16.11), with take-out, cut length and thread make-up.
• Valves and fittings in pressure loss: ten fittings, from 90 and 45 elbows to gate, globe, angle and swing check valves, with ASHRAE loss coefficients by pipe size and joint type, on Colebrook-White friction, the basis of the Moody chart.
• Water temperature: enter 32 to 212°F, from chilled to boiler water, and pressure loss uses the viscosity at that temperature.
• When the fittings are longer than the centerline allows, the cut length shows "Short By" and the amount, so you know how much to change.
• Stored values are saved between launches, and a recalled value can start or finish a calculation.
• Hold for help: hold Offset, Travel, Convert or any other function key for about a second and the manual opens at that key's section, with its worked examples.
