komoot - ハイキング、バイクは、地図を基に自分の冒険を計画し記録するためのアプリです。
路面の状態や難易度を細かく確認しながら自分だけのルートを作成できます。電波の届かない山道や森の中でも、あらかじめ保存した地図を表示して進むことができるため安心感があります。音声による案内が流れるので、視線を動かさずに周囲の景色を楽しみながら目的地を目指せます。他の利用者が選んだおすすめの場所や写真も地図上で確認できるため、次に行く場所のヒントも得られます。
Apple Watchと連携して手元で距離や速度を常に確認しながら、自転車やハイキングの距離を記録できます。事前に詳細な計画を立てたい時や、未知のルートへ挑戦する際の準備に重宝します。

路面状況や難易度を把握した計画
舗装された道路や未舗装の道など、地面の状態と走行の難易度を確認しながら進めます。自分の技術に合ったルートを詳細まで設定できるため、安心して次の目的地へ向かえます。
視線を外さない音声ナビゲーション
次に曲がる場所や進むべき方向を声で案内します。画面を注視する手間が省けるため、周囲の景色や自然の様子に集中しながら安全に目的地まで移動できます。
圏外でも使える地図の保存
山間部や森など電波の届かない場所へ行く前に、地図を端末へ保存します。通信環境に左右されず正確な位置を確認しながら進めるため、人里離れた場所での冒険もスムーズにこなせます。
他の利用者が選んだおすすめの地点
地図上に表示される赤い点で、他のユーザーが訪れたおすすめの場所を特定します。見知らぬ土地へ行く際も、他の人の足跡を参考にしながら次へ向かう場所を決めることができます。

一部の機能を利用する際にサブスクリプションへの加入を求められる点に不満の声があります。ナビの案内が最短距離を優先するため、細かい曲がり角の指示が頻繁に出るという指摘も挙がっています。特定の端末で操作メニューが消えるなど、動作が不安定な場面があるという報告も確認できました。
