Piano Motifsはどんなアプリ？
Piano Motifsは、音楽理論に基づいたアルゴリズムを用いて独自のメロディや伴奏を生成するアプリです。
ボタンの操作だけで、特定のキーやスケールに合わせて瞬時に新しい旋律を作り出せます。あらかじめ用意されたメロディを使うのではなく、その都度計算によって異なるフレーズが生まれるため、無限の可能性の中からインスピレーションを得られます。自分で入力したコード進行に合わせた伴奏を自動生成したり、弦楽器や合唱のような質感を持たせるための持続的な和音を重ねたりすることもできます。作成した素材はMIDIファイルとして書き出せるため、他の制作環境に取り込んで楽器の音色を割り当てたり、より複雑な編曲へ繋げたりできます。
高度な音楽理論の知識がなくても、独自のメロディやフレーズを短時間で作りたい作曲家の創作活動に便利です。楽曲のアイデアが煮詰まった際に、新しい旋律の種を探るための道具として活用できます。

独自のアルゴリズムが音楽理論に基づいてメロディを生成します。あらかじめ用意されたフレーズを使うのではなく、計算によって導き出されるため、新しい旋律に出会える機会が増えます。

キーやスケールなどの数値を細かく指定して楽曲の雰囲気を変えられます。テンポやオクターブの範囲を調整し、自分の好みに合わせた音作りを追求できるため制作の幅が広がります。
コード進行に合わせた自動生成
自分で入力したコード進行に合わせて伴奏や旋律を自動で生成します。独自のコード進行をベースに、必要な要素を瞬時に補いながら楽曲を広げていけるため制作の工程を効率化できます。

• Added the Random Selection Accomp Style. When you select this Accompaniment a popover screen will be displayed with a list of all the Accomp Styles. There, the Accomp Styles can be constrained to a set from which the app can randomly select when generating a motif.
• Added a MIDI Split option. This option allows to select the MIDI channels depending on the notes being played. There are 4 note zones that get mapped to MIDI channels 1 to 4. To program the zones turn On MIDI Split and slide your finger over the keyboard. (AUv3 MIDI Plug-In Only).
• BPM phrasing should be turned off when Continuous Mode is activated. (AUv3 MIDI Plug-In Only).

• Added Continuous Mode. In Sync Mode, motifs are continuously generated while the Host is playing. In Non-Sync Mode, motifs are continuously played after pressing Play. Activate Continuous Mode by long-pressing the Generate/Play button and selecting Continuous. (AUv3 MIDI Plug-In Only).

• New curves for velocity offsets per section in Arrangement Screen. Added Slow and Fast to the already existing Linear curve. These new curves are quadratic, causing the velocity offset to change gradually over time rather than at a constant rate.
