iBassist – Virtual Bass Playerはどんなアプリ？
iBassist – Virtual Bass Playerは、コード進行に合わせて自動でベースラインを生成する音楽制作アプリです。
あらかじめ設定したコードに合わせて、リアルな指弾きやピックの音色を瞬時に反映させられます。内蔵のエフェクトで音色を細かく調整できるため、自分の好みの質感を作り込める仕組みです。作成したフレーズはMIDIデータとして書き出せるので、他の制作ソフトへ移行する際もスムーズに作業が進みます。
楽曲の構成に合わせてベースの役割を変化させたい場面で役立ちます。独自のコードエディタで進行を自由に変更しながら、即座にベースの動きを更新できるため、曲のアイデアを形にするスピードが上がります。他のアプリと連携してリズム隊を構築し、本格的な制作や練習に取り掛かりたい場面に向いています。

コード進行に連動するベースライン
あらかじめ設定した和音の動きに合わせて、ベースのフレーズが自動で変化します。曲の構成が変わるたびにベースラインを更新するため、制作の過程で迷う時間を短縮できます。
指弾きやピックなど複数の音色選択
モダンな指弾きやピック奏法、ウッドベースなどの音色が選べます。楽器固有のニュアンスを反映した素材が揃っており、楽曲の雰囲気に合わせた質感の作り込みができます。
MIDIデータへの書き出し機能
制作したベースラインをMIDIデータとして書き出せます。他の制作ソフトへデータを移送する際もスムーズな連携ができるため、外部機器と組み合わせた高度な楽曲制作にも対応します。
内蔵エフェクトによる音の調整
コンプレッサーやディレイ、リバーブなどのエフェクトが内蔵されています。これらの機能を使い分けることで、個々の楽曲にふさわしい独自の音色を細かく作り込むことができます。

• Save your own bass sounds: the bass, the whole oscillator, the effects chain, the EQ and the output level, under a name of your own
• Picking a bass now loads its whole setup, oscillator, effects and EQ. Factory basses start clean, so going down the list auditions them properly
• Save, Replace, Rename and Delete your sounds from the Osc, Effects or EQ page. Deleting one that a Song or a Live Pad Set uses warns you first and offers to reassign them
• REPLACE works on factory basses too: it stores your oscillator, effects and EQ with that bass, and DELETE puts it back
• The song editor's sound button now opens a scrollable list, with your own sounds in a YOUR SOUNDS section
• A second, MIDI-only plug-in, Lumbeat: iBassist (MIDI). The same bass line sent out as MIDI, without loading any bass sound
• The oscillator now sounds in the plug-in too, not only in the app
• Plug-in: MIDI Setup closes by tapping outside the panel
• Live Pads: the dice now splits intensity three ways, the neutral 50, the one you set, and a free value
