Treadmill Smart Speedはどんなアプリ？
Treadmill Smart Speedは、iPhoneをトレッドミルの速度や傾斜のセンサーとして機能させるアプリです。
iPhoneをBluetooth経由で外部アプリに接続すると、走行データが正確に送信されます。画面には現在の速度やペース、傾斜の情報を大きく表示するため、運動中に目視で確認しやすくなっています。Apple Watchと連携すれば、手元で心拍数や歩数を計測しながらトレーニングに集中できます。バックグラウンドでの動作も維持されるため、他のアプリを操作しながらでも接続が途切れません。
専用の機器を購入せずに自宅のトレッドミルをZwiftなどの仮想空間と連携させたい時に便利です。独自の記録機能も備わっているため、運動後のデータをファイルとして書き出して共有することもできます。特別な機材を用意する手間を省いて、手軽に本格的なトレーニング環境を整えたい場面に向いています。

iPhoneによる速度と傾斜の検知
スマートフォンをBluetooth経由でトレッドミルのセンサーとして動作させます。独自の機材を買い足さなくても、走っている際のスピードや傾斜の数値を正確に計測できます。
外部アプリへの走行データ送信
Zwiftなどの仮想空間を舞台にするアプリと連携して動かします。自身の走行速度を外部へ転送するため、自宅の機材をそのままの状態で活用できます。
Apple Watchとの連携による計測
手首の動きから歩数やペースを推定する時計と連動します。心拍数をリアルタイムで取り込みながら、より集中したトレーニング環境を構築できます。
バックグラウンドでの接続維持
アプリを閉じたり別の画面を開いたりしても通信が途切れません。他のアプリを確認しながらでも、安定した接続状態のままトレーニングを継続できます。

If you bought Treadmill Smart Speed back when it was a paid app, this update recognises your purchase again: everything is unlocked for you, for good, with nothing to buy. Versions 3.0 and 3.1 showed some of those customers the free-run countdown by mistake. Sorry about that, and thank you for staying with the app since the start.

Treadmill Smart Speed now works with Kinomap, and with Garmin watches again.
• Kinomap reads your speed and incline. In Kinomap, add the phone as an FTMS treadmill
• Garmin watches list the phone as a foot pod again
• Cadence rises and falls with your speed instead of staying fixed, and uses your own cadence when the Apple Watch or arm band sets the speed
• Zwift finds the phone as a heart-rate sensor once your Apple Watch workout is running
If Zwift or Kinomap shows no data after updating, remove the phone from its list of devices and pair it again.

• Choose Just Run at the bottom of the speed source list. No Zwift, sensor or watch needed
• Set the speed to match the treadmill and run through a 3D park, as a man or a woman
• A gate at every kilometre or mile, with your split, a tap and a burst of confetti
• Your last 50 runs are kept, with time, distance and pace
• Match a run's distance to the treadmill's display, then export it as a TCX file
• Delete any run, or several at once
• Choose Just Run at the bottom of the speed source list. No Zwift, sensor or watch needed
• Set the speed to match the treadmill and run through a 3D park, as a man or a woman
