Soft Drummer – Brush Sessionsはどんなアプリ？
Soft Drummer – Brush Sessionsは、楽曲に合わせて即興で演奏するドラムの動きを再現するアプリです。
あらかじめ決められたパターンを繰り返すのではなく、実際の演奏者のようにリアルタイムで反応しながらグルーヴを刻みます。ブラシやマレットといった四種類の奏法から選べるため、ジャズやラテンなど落ち着いた雰囲気の楽曲に合う音作りができます。複数の音を重ねた重層的なサウンドや、エフェクトによる調整も細かく行えます。外部機器と同期して演奏を連動させることもできるため、ライブパフォーマンスの場面でも安定した演奏を支えます。
イントロからアウトロまで楽曲の構成に合わせた展開を瞬時に組み立てられるため、制作の工程を短縮したい場面にうってつけです。制作中の楽曲に自動でリズムを当てはめたい作曲家や、自分の演奏に自然なドラムを重ねたいクリエイターが使うことで、より本格的な楽曲制作を進められます。

即興性を備えたドラムの動き
あらかじめ決まったパターンを繰り返すのではなく、演奏者の動きに反応するリアルタイムな演奏を再現します。機械的なループから解放されることで、より人間味のあるグルーヴを刻めます。
四種類の奏法による音作り
ブラシやマレットなど四つの奏法から選んで音色を変化させます。ジャズやラテンといった落ち着いた楽曲に合わせて、重層的な音の重ねやエフェクトによる細かな調整も行えます。
構成に合わせて展開を変えるモード
ソングモードを使うとイントロからアウトロまでの構造を瞬時に組み立てられます。楽曲の構成に合わせてリズムの展開を自動で追いかけるため、制作工程を短縮したい場面で助けになります。
外部機器と同期する連携機能
Ableton LinkやMIDIによる同期に対応しており、外部機器と演奏を連動させられます。ライブパフォーマンスの現場でも安定した動作を維持し、他の楽器と密接に同期した演奏を支えます。

• Settings: a rhythm picked while playing can enter on the next bar or right away

• Live Pads over MIDI: on CC, one controller number and the value picks the pad (0 = pad 1). Update your controller if you had eight

- When you receive a shared Live Pad Set or Song, choose which bank to save its grooves in, or create a new one named after it
- Share a groove or song as a file (AirDrop, Mail, Files), it opens in the same app on the receiving device, no Apple ID required
- Song mode: loop setting is now remembered per song (adjustable in Settings)
- Live Pads: the next pad queued to play now shows a countdown bar before it triggers
- Fixed: switching to a triplet groove no longer doubles the first note
