Analogue - BW Darkroomはどんなアプリ？
Analogue - BW Darkroomは、暗室で写真を現像する工程を体験できる写真・ビデオアプリです。
デジタル画像を白黒に変換した上で、特定の範囲を明るくしたり暗くしたりして質感を作り込みます。セリウムやセピアといった複数の色調を選んで重ねることで、独特な風合いを引き出せるため、こだわりの一枚を仕上げられます。大判カメラやピンホールカメラなど、特殊な機材を操作する感覚を再現した撮影機能も備わっています。拡大鏡を用いてピントを調整したり、レンズの傾きを補正したりする工程を通じて、一枚の写真を丁寧に作り込む過程を体験できます。
あえて手間のかかる工程を経ることで、撮影から完成までをじっくりと見つめ直したい場面にぴったりです。かつての暗室での作業を懐かしむ人や、手間をかけて表現を追求したいクリエイターが、自分の感性を研ぎ澄ませるために使えます。

暗室での現像工程の再現
実際の暗室でネガを現像する工程を体験できます。良い状態のストリップを見極める工程や、光の量を調整して一部の明るさを変える作業を通して写真の基礎を学べます。
コントラストと露出の調整
特定の範囲をより明るくしたり暗くしたりして質感を作り込めます。拡大鏡を使って細部まで確認しながら進めるため、意図した表情を正確に反映させられます。
セリウムやセピアなどの色調選択
セリウムやシアノタイプ、セピアといった異なる色調を重ねて適用できます。複数の効果をレイヤーとして管理するため、個別の調整や表示の切り替えもスムーズに行えます。
大判やピンホールカメラの操作
大判カメラでの撮影やピンホールカメラによる直感的な撮影を選べます。手動でピントを調整するルーペや、レンズの傾きを補正する機能により、古い機材の操作感を再現できます。

A couple of you contacted me and missed the old pocket camera. As you know, I changed it to the pinhole camera.
But as you seem to really have enjoyed the pocket camera, it's now back.

Now you can select the type of effect for the pinhole camera, everything from unfiltered to a real vintage feel.
Also, I accidentally removed the rotate function from the crop section in the darkroom, but it is now back.
Lastly, this update includes a couple of bug fixes and better-looking icons for the cameras. As always, I hope you enjoy it and continue to improve your photography.

Some of the graphic in the large-format and medium-camera looked very bad. That had to be fixed any bugs have been put to sleep now.
Also, you will get a haptic feedback when taking photos now.

I increased the strength on the Selenium tone as well.

In the darkroom, when adding dodge and burn a tiny bug made the app crash.
But that is fixed now.
I hope we can continue to have a bug-free app and enjoy photography instead

Duncan Allan contacted me when he noticed that Analogue was crashing. I added him as an internal tester and we could find out the reason and that is fixed now.

I made a huge update internally where I went from OpenGL to Metal.
This will make sure the app is maintained for a long time in the future.
